I believe that theatre emerges from the tension between the ordinary and the extraordinary, highlighting exceptional characters in everyday. I first found my passion in middle school in Southern Colorado while performing in Schoolhouse Rock Live, Jr. Since then, I've been involved in any way I could - crew, understudy, background roles, lead roles, directing, and eventually teaching. In High School, my role as Lady Macbeth in high school, sparking a deep love for Shakespeare and the art of performance. Later, I graduated from CU Boulder with both a BA and an MA in Theatre and Performance Studies, dedicated to learning as much about my craft as possible. After a few years off, from dealing with Chronic Illness, Brittny is back and ready to pursue her deepest passion for telling other people's stories, and amplifying voices.
